NYS Mechanic License Course & QEI License Certification

All New York State licensed mechanics must complete 8 hours of continuing education each year (starting year 2024) for their application for renewal to be granted and to maintain their Mechanic License.

ECNY is excited to partner with NAESA and announce another one-day educational seminar being offered on two different dates at the Villa Barone Manor. This seminar is available to ECNY Members only (this includes employees of companies who are members).

Dates: September 18th, 2024 or November 7th, 2024

Time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (includes a 1-hour lunch break)

Description:

NAESA International's training will provide 0.8 CEUs (8 hours) of in-person instruction.

NYS Mechanics: Required to obtain 0.8 CEUs annually to maintain their state license.

QEI Certified Inspectors: Required by ASME QEI-1 to obtain 1.0 CEUs annually to maintain their QEI certification. After completion of the the 0.8 CEUs from this course, the remaining 0.2 CEUs (2 hours) will be available through on-demand training in each attendee's NAESA profile.

Training Focus:

The standard code update presentation will cover the latest editions of ASME codes, exploring changes and future trends in the elevator industry.

Additional Information:

NAESA International will provide professional instruction, verification of CEUs, and certificates of completion for all attendees. Lunch, refreshments and coffee will be provided to each attendee.
